Privacy Policy

Short version: Media Buyer Helper does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

1. What the extension does

Media Buyer Helper is a Chrome extension that helps Facebook Ads Manager users apply column presets with a single click. It reads the current tab URL to detect the active ad account and navigates to a modified URL with the selected column parameters.

2. Data we do NOT collect

No personal information (name, email, phone, etc.)
No browsing history or activity tracking
No Facebook account credentials or tokens
No ad campaign data, metrics, or results
No financial or payment information
No location data
Nothing is ever sent to any external server

3. Data stored locally on your device

The extension stores the following data only on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API:

Custom column presets — names and lists of column IDs you create
Interface language preference — EN, UA, or RU

This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us or any third party.

4. Permissions used and why

storage — to save your custom column presets locally
activeTab — to read the current tab URL and extract the Ad Account ID
scripting — to navigate the active tab to the modified Ads Manager URL when applying a preset
tabs — to find and reload all open Ads Manager tabs when you use the reload button
Host access (facebook.com) — to inject a content script that reads account info (name, status, timezone, currency) from the page's existing data, displayed only in the extension popup

5. Third-party services

The extension popup loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) for display purposes only. This is a standard web font request; no user data is attached. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

No other third-party services, analytics tools, or tracking scripts are used.

6. Data sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with any third parties — because we do not collect any data in the first place.

7. Children's privacy

This extension is intended for professional use by digital marketing specialists. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
